Development of Relations between the Industrial Research Institute and UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) – Between Dr Frenn and Mr Kalinzi
Dr. Bassam Frenn, Director General of the Industrial Research Institute, welcomed Emmanuel Kalinzi, the representative of UNIDO in Lebanon, presenting him with a comprehensive overview of the institute and the development of the work across various directorates, research centers, departments, and laboratories.
They reviewed the ongoing and effective cooperation, both present and future, between the institute and the international organization. They discussed ways to support the institute to continue providing services to the Lebanese industrial sector, aiming to modernize Lebanon’s primary production sector.
Dr. Frenn then organized a field tour for Kalinzi around the institute, including its departments and laboratories, which cover all specialized analyses and quality control.
